Getting Your Child Ready to Play Lacrosse
Before your child can get stuck into a match, there are just a few quick things to sort out. They only take a few minutes and make sure everything runs smoothly.
1. Register Your Child With England Lacrosse
All junior players need to be registered with England Lacrosse. This gives them the insurance and approval they need to play.
Sign up here: England Lacrosse Membership
2. Get Them a Junior Sports Membership at Monton Sports Club
Your child also needs a Junior Sports Membership with the club. This covers their place in the junior section and keeps everything official on our end.
3. You’ll Need an Adult Social Membership Too
As their parent or carer, you also need to be registered with Monton Sports Club as an Adult Social Member.
It’s mainly for safeguarding and means you can be on site with them during training and games.
nb. This only requires one parent/carer
4. Finally, Join Us on Pitchero
Pitchero is where we share training times, fixtures, and team updates, so you’ll want to be signed up there too.
Just follow this guide: Pitchero Sign Up Guide
Once all that’s done, your child is ready to go — training, matches, updates, the lot.
If you get stuck at any point, get in touch with one of the coaches!
