A brilliant day for U15’s Greens yesterday at the tournament. ??

We played four games across the day against Steadle Green, Steadle Blue, the SIS Dragons, and our own Reds team.

I’m incredibly proud of the girls today. We were predominantly a Year 9 team, and they really stepped up and competed against some strong opposition throughout the day.

Although we didn’t come away with a win today, the girls showed some really positive things throughout the games. There was plenty of effort, some great teamwork and lots of moments where they kept battling even when things weren’t going our way.

Playing against the SIS Dragons, who travelled over from Prague just for the tournament, was a great opportunity to play against a team from a different country. Although the girls were on the receiving end of quite a few fouls from the dragons.

Thank you to Anna and Grace for playing up and supporting the u15’s. It made a real difference having them with us, and they both worked brilliantly alongside the Year 9 girls and Autumn , year 10, who scored her first hat-trick. ??

Thank you to James Chalk for keeping score, penalty timing and assisting the girl.

Most importantly, I’m really proud of how all the girls conducted themselves throughout the day. They supported each other, kept going and represented the club brilliantly. Days like today are all part of their development, and there is plenty for us to take away and build on.

Thank you to all the parents for your support, and of course a huge well done to all the girls.
