An excellent display from the girls yesterday - the final score doesn't reflect really how closely fought this game was.

The match saw some great performances, both offensively and defensively, with some passages of excellent passing lacrosse, putting pressure on the Goalies at both ends of the field. The wet and heavy conditions also led to lots of competition for ground balls.

Goals from Anna, Elsie and Sophie had the scoring tied at 6-6 going into the final quarter, however, a number of penalties throughout for Fan infringements led to some apprehension in the late game, resulting in a 6-1 loss in the fourth.

Lots of strong passing play led to some shots hitting the pipes or being saved - strong performances from a full team effort.
